T2 System - Method of Repairing Rubber Damage
The T2 system is a fast, cost-effective and mobile method for repairing damage to rubber surfaces of conveyor belts and other equipment components made of rubber. It can be used for the most common elastomers: natural (NR), styrene-butadiene (SBR), isoprene (IR), butadiene (BR) rubber or their mixtures, e.g. NR/BR (a typical rubber grade used for conveyor belts and anti-abrasive protection).
Advantages:
- Short work process time
- No need for vulcanization equipment
- Easy to operate the extruder
- Easy to use directly on site, since the system is easy to transport
- Launch of the conveyor unit immediately after the repair is completed (no time delay is required after the repair work is completed)
- Reduced downtime and increased equipment utilization
- Cost-effective repair method
Examples of practical use:
- Repair of damage to the rubber lining layer and longitudinal breaks in conveyor belts
- Repair of seals (e.g. seals for loading hatches of sea vessels)
- Filling gaps when rubberizing surfaces
- Cosmetic repair of rubber parts
