PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CHEMOLINE RT is a soft rubber lining based on bromobutyl rubber (BIIR).
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
CHEMOLINE RT is used for the workshop rubber lining of steel components exposed to chemicals. The fields of
application range from the chemical, chlorine and steel industries to ore processing and environmental protection.
Typical applications are the linings of storage and agitator tanks, electroplating tanks and chlorine electrolysis
plants. CHEMOLINE RT is also used for storage and transport containers for chlorine bleach and hydrofluoric acid
as well as road tankers, ISO containers and rail road tankers.
FEATURES
- Good chemical resistance to mineral acids (including hydrofluoric acid), bases and excellent resistance to oxidi-
sing media such as sodium hypochlorite (max. 190g/l) or chromic acid.
- UV and ozone resistant
- High continuous operating temperature and good thermal shock resistance
